Overview:
The "Photography For Farmers" workshop will be held at Monnett Farms in Prince Frederick, Maryland. It is hands-on and teaches practical skills. We will take a walking tour of the farm and review best practices for taking pictures of farm landscape (including plants, livestock, people, etc.). The workshop will also include segments on photographing food and product, styling photos, and photo editing.
Melissa and Jamie will also talk about some simple ways to improve your social media strategy using your awesome new photography skills.

You'll leave this event with improved skills, practical tools, a tip sheet, and a few new friends. When you get back to your business, you'll be able to jump right in and start taking better pictures for your marketing efforts.

What about weather? Part of this workshop will be held outdoors on the farm. Unless there is a major weather event (forceful rain, snow, etc.) it will be held as planned. There is shelter at the farm and part of the workshop will be held in a barn. Please be prepared for the weather, dress comfortably and wear practical shoes for walking around a farm.
There is ample parking at the farm as well as electricity in the barn and restroom facilities on-site.
