I hope you've noticed that these weekly challenges have all been building on one another.
In the first week, we focused on organization because being organized will help you in the long run. One of the tasks was to organize your photos and that will come in handy this week. It's easy to spend too much time looking for the perfect picture or delay a post because you don't have the "right shot." As you start to plan your social media posts for the months ahead, pay attention to the content that you need. If you're using one of the digital templates, copy and paste a link to the photos you want to use so you can access them easily when it comes time to make a post. If you're storing your photos in google photos or drop box, this is easy to do. If you're just using your native photo app on the phone, mark the photos you want as a "favorite" or create a folder for them so they're easy to find.
Next, we worked on mission statements. As you plan, think on that mission statement and make sure that the activities and tasks you're doing align with the greater vision you have for yourself or your company.
And last week, we set goals. SMART goalsare really important for a company. I asked you to write down the one thing you wanted to accomplish. This week, as you plan your social media activities, make sure you schedule tasks that will help you reach your goal.

This week's challenge is to schedule your big ideas. Planning takes time, but in the long run, you'll be glad you did it. These social media calendar templates aren't meant to micromanage your every move. Spontaneity is important, especially on social media. However, you do need to make time to work in the things that are really important to your business. If you are marketing an event or trying to generate sales for a particular product or service, you need to make sure you build in a strategy that will help you reach the goal you have.
